Ms. Bhumika Batra is a Partner in Crawford Bayley & Co., one of the oldest law firms in India. She has a rich experience of around 20 years in the regulatory and legal field. She is a qualified Company Secretary and has done Master’s in Law. She is also a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. In addition, she has also done the Executive Program in Management from Cornell University, USA.
Ms. Batra serves as an Independent Director on the boards of listed entities; Jyothy Labs Limited, Hinduja Global Solutions Limited, Repro India Limited, Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited.
She is a regular feature writer in India Business Law Journal. She has also contributed to various other writings like Company Law Ready Reckoner, Transfer and Transmission of Shares – A treatise, Asia Business Law Journal, etc. She co-authored the book “Treatise on Company Law” in 2014..
