Mr. Sudhir Mankad, IAS (Retd.) has served in senior positions, both with the Government of India and Government of Gujarat. His last assignment was as Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat. Additionally, he has served as a Director/Chairman on the Board of several cement, power, fertilizer and finance companies. Mr. Mankad is the Chairman of Bhavnagar Energy Co. Ltd., Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Ltd. and a member of the High Power Expert Committee on Urban Development, Government of India. He is also the Chairman of the Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecol-lgogy (GUIDE) and is associated with several educational institutions. He holds a Masters degree in History from the University of Delhi

In a career spanning over 41 years in fields like Project Management, Operations, Corporate Planning, Quality Management, Mr. Anand has held various important positions at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. and retired as its Whole-time Director and Board Member in 2008. In addition to being a member of institutions like ICMA and IIChE, he is an Advisor to the Government of India on Health, Safety and Environment aspects in the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons convention. He is a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from Delhi University and has done a Petrochemical Course at IIP, Dehradun. He has also done an advanced management course at IIM, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Richard H. Rupp has held various top level positions in leading multinational companies such as Hoechst AG (Germany), Lonza (Switzerland) and Allessachemie (Germany). Dr. Rupp holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, and has completed a program for Executive Development from IMD, Switzerland.

Dr. Sivaram has over 40 years of experience in basic research, process/product R&D and S&T management, both, in industry and academia. Between 1988 and 2010, he was associated with the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune; first, as the Head of Polymer Chemistry Division and then as its Director. His professional affiliations include President, Society of Polymer Science, India; Life Member, Chemical Research Society of India; Life Member, Material Research Society of India and Member, American Chemical Society. An alumnus of IIT, Kanpur, he received his Ph.D in Chemistry from Purdue University. He has over 50 US patents to his credit.

Sanjay Asher holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Bombay. He has been a practising advocate since 1991, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1993. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is presently a senior partner with Crawford Bayley & Co, which is India’s oldest law firm, established in 1830. He specialises in the fields of corporate law and commercial law, corss-border M&A, joint ventures, and capital markets, and advises large, medium and small business enterprises on these subjects.

His areas of specialization include business succession, tax advisory and litigation, structuring of collaborations and joint ventures, and corporate restructuring, turnaround and change management strategies. He also advises some of India’s large business houses on various strategic matters, including family succession and on wills and trusts. Mr. Choksi was the former Joint Managing Partner of Deloitte in India till 2008, before the setting up of C.C. Chokshi Advisors Pvt. Ltd. of which he is the Chief Mentor.
